Merrell Trail Glove Mens
The Merrell Trail Glove goes from strength to strength and has consistently been the most popular shoe in the Merrell barefoot range. Whilst Merrell have regularly refreshed the colours, the now classic design has remained the same.
The Merrell Trail Glove does well because it covers all bases. Though described a s a trail shoe it is often used a s a general purpose or road shoe. The fit seems to work well on most shapes of feet. Finally it offers enough cushioning to cater for new entrants to barefoot running.
The Merrell Trail Glove was Merrell's first barefoot shoe when it was launched in early 2011. Merrell have come a long way since then . The Merrell range has grown considerably in the meantime and there are now a wide range of barefoot shoes tailored to different activities. Now that there is a road specific barefoot shoe from Merrell, the Trail Glove tends to be thought of as being for off-road usage. But whilst new models have come along the Trail Glove remains the preferred barefoot shoe from Merrell.
The popularity of this shoe comes down to the fact that it is a proper zero drop shoe with a sole that does not have excessive cushioning. It also benefits from a nice wide toe box. The sole has enough grip for off-road use but it is not dramatic so many users will buy it as a general purpose go anywhere shoe. Finally it looks great !
Features
The sole on the Trail Glove is somewhat similar to the FiveFingers shoe in that it contains Vibram for shock absorption.
